Buzzer Media is an online advertising network. We serve advertisements from a wide selection of Advertisers through a large network of Publishers. Buzzer Media monitor and control the positioning, distribution and response to these banner advertisements.
Personally Identifiable Information
Buzzer Media define Personally Identifiable Information as any information that relates to the identity of the advertisement viewer. This includes, but is not limited to, names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses or any information that could be used to contact an advertisement viewer.Viewer Monitoring At no stage in serving, monitoring or clicking on adverts is a banner viewer’s Personally Identifiable Information requested or stored. Buzzer Media may store IP addresses or browser capability information during the process of serving and redirecting clicks on advertisements. This information is collected anonymously and solely for the purpose of correctly and accurately reporting and auditing the serving and clicks on advertisements served by Buzzer Media.
Buzzer Media’s Use of Cookies
Buzzer Media use cookies to help ensure that adverts are served and clicks are recorded and redirected correctly. In certain instances, Buzzer Media may use cookies to improve banner positioning by monitoring post click activity. This activity is completely anonymous and no connection is made at any time between this activity and the viewers Personally Identifiable Information. Buzzer Media do not use cookies to collect Personally Identifiable Information from a viewer in any way. Buzzer Media do not rely on cookies to serve or monitor adverts, and viewers are able to disable and delete Buzzer Media cookies without performance or operating problems.
Privacy Policies of Publishers and Advertisers
Except in the instances described above, Buzzer Media cannot control the privacy policies of either the Publishers that the Buzzer Media banners are displayed on, or the Web Sites of the Advertisers that can be reached by clicking on any advertisement.
Client Data (Advertiser/Publishers)
All Personally Identifiable Information provided to Buzzer Media by Publishers and Advertisers is used solely for the purpose of administration and billing. Under no circumstance is this information supplied to other parties. Information regarding Advertiser campaigns and Host traffic which is collected for reporting, auditing and billing purposes as part of Buzzer Media’s banner serving is held purely for the purpose of billing and reporting.
